The freighter emerged from the jump point, its sublight engines kicking in as it transitioned from jump-space. Aboard the ship's bridge, the Helar pilot grunted as his great clawed paws manipulated the controls before him. “Transition successful.” the ship's AI stated. “Shall I hail Interstellar 1197?” “Do so.” the pilot rumbled, turning and looking back at the repulsorpod secured in the wall bracket. “Are you well little one?” “Bah!” exclaimed the pod's occupant excitedly as they sat up to look at the pilot with a smile. The Helar frowned. It was odd to see something that looked so similar to one of his own kind's infants and yet was hairless and with such a flat face. At least it was dark-skinned. He didn't know what he'd have done if she'd been albino. “Interstellar 1197 is responding.” the ship's AI paused. “Clearance granted. Ship's manifest requested prior to docking.” The Helar grunted. “Understood, make the manifest available.” “Affirmative. Manifest will be posted

Exalted: Legends of the Dreaming Sea Book 1 Of Dreams and Paradise Chapter 2 - Part 2 An Exalted Adventure Series A Work of Fan Fiction Cadence paced along the side walkway of his legendary ship the Skylancer as he and his crew approached the central tower of the Tomb of the Siaka Queen. The Skylancer had been in his family for many generations, named after their famed ancestor who had come through the Usurpation victorious. It was also one of the first skyships the Shogunate had produced, and yet one of the last fully functional as the infrastructure from the First Age quickly crumbled without the sorcery and powers of the overthrown Solars to maintain it. Even still, the Skylancer had survived those battles and those down the line long after the fall of the Anathema Kings, becoming a treasure to the Princes of the Earth that commanded her. Now she was fighting with the Prasadi people, expanding their empire throughout the southeast, along the western borders of the Dreaming Sea.

Balmorra System, Republic star destroyer Guardian Walking onto the bridge Kahan looked at Capain Serros. “What happened Captain?” “Unclear sir, someone took Commander Nokta's personal ship out through the ventral hangar and jumped towards Balmorra before we could tractor them.” “And you're sure they're jumping for Balmorra?” Kahan inquired. “Yes sir, the trace of their jump confirms it.” “Very well. Do we have footage from the hangar?” “Yes General, we were waiting to examine it until you arrived.” “Thank you.” Kahan said as he turned towards a terminal off to the side of the bridge. “Let's pull it up here, no need to show the entire bridge.” The pair of them went to the console and after Captain Serros entered a series of commands they watched as Hanabi and several clones boarded the Sleek Blade and lifted off from the Guardian's hangar. After the footage had played Kahan sighed heavily. “Captain, I would like to apologize for my apprentice's behavior.” “Any

“Our armored assets will participate in the attack on Sundari.” Aira-ty said firmly. “What about the Mand'alor?” Bo-Katan asked dubiously. “You expect him to go in unsupported?” “He'll have the Rebel star destroyer in close support.” Aira-ty answered. “That should be good enough.” “We should still assign more forces to assist him.” Bo-Katan continued, looking around at the rest of the assembled group. “The Mand'alor cannot be allowed to attack on his own.” Aira-ty sighed in annoyance and turned to look at Bo-Katan. “Very well, in addition to the Mand'alor and his Protectors, you and your Nite Owls will go with them to provide support.” Bo-Katan opened her mouth to protest and then closed it again promptly, bowing her head slightly. “The Nite Owls will be honored to safeguard the Mand'alor.” “I thought as much.” Aira-ty said with a look around the holomap of the City of Bone and Sundari before them. “The bulk of our forces will be at Sundari. The City of Bone is going to be the

The peaks of the Wailing Wall rose imposingly up out of the plains ahead of them. They were clearly visible from the air as Bracken flew low above the ground towards them. Caleb looked up at the two largest peaks, a pair of the Seven-Gates, and shifted Bracken's flight towards them. “Are we going over them?” Nil asked over her shoulder as she sat in the saddle before him. “No,” Caleb said with a shake of his head. “Bracken can't take us that high and we ain't dressed for it. The air grows chill that high up. Best to pass through the gate itself.” As they approached the mountains they loomed overhead and Caleb felt Nil shift in the saddle as she leaned back against him. “I've never seen anything so big.” she said over the rush of wind as Bracken flew onwards. “I have, and bigger.” Caleb remarked, remembering his home. “These are small compared to the Cloud Spine to the north. If we can make it back to the others ye may yet see them lass.” “Mountains bigger than these?” Nil asked in

Surface of Balmorra, Bin Prime Everything hurt, and it was too bright. Aira-ty blinked painfully at the light glaring down at her from the glowlamps. The pain at least told her that she wasn't dead for what that was worth. Given the last thing she remembered was being shot by battle droids though she wasn't entirely sure if that was a good thing. “I was wondering when you'd wake up.” Aira-ty jerked upright, her arms protesting painfully as she felt the restraints cut into her wrists. Grauzem leaned against the counter, grinning at her maliciously. “You're not that strong Aira-ty, nice try though.” “Hut'uun!” Aira-ty spat as she struggled against the restraints holding her to the bed. “Be grateful I can't reach you!” “Or you'd what?” Grauzem asked, looking at her with his one good eye. “Slash my other eye?” he tapped his dark khaki breastplate. “Stab me in the chest with that blade again?” Aira-ty's nostrils flared as she looked at the blonde Human man with a mixture of fear
